We want you to be satisfied with SecureCompress. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for Pro license purchases.

Refund Eligibility

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date, no questions asked.

Technical Issues

If the Software doesn't work on your supported Mac (macOS 13+) and we can't resolve the issue, you're eligible for a refund even after 14 days.

Duplicate Purchases

Accidental duplicate purchases are always refundable. Contact us with both order numbers.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Requests made more than 14 days after purchase (unless due to technical issues)
  • Change of mind after the 14-day period
  • Violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., license sharing)
  • Purchases made through unauthorized resellers
  • Requests without valid order information

Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear
  • PayPal refunds typically appear within 3-5 business days
  • Bank processing times vary by institution

Partial Refunds

We generally don't offer partial refunds. However, we may consider them in special circumstances:

  • Pro-rated refunds for annual subscriptions (if applicable in future)
  • Goodwill adjustments for long-term customers with issues

After Your Refund

  • Your license key will be deactivated
  • Pro features will no longer be accessible
  • You can continue using the Free Version
  • You're welcome to repurchase in the future

Disputes & Chargebacks

Before filing a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us first. We're committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly. Chargebacks incur fees that hurt small developers, and we'd rather work with you directly.

Regional Exceptions

EU Consumers

Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital purchases. This right may be waived if you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge losing the withdrawal right.

Australia

Australian Consumer Law provides additional protections. If the Software has a major failure, you're entitled to a refund regardless of our policy.
